Almost like being on tour...!

Wow it feels like I have been on tour this last month...first date was Ardingly which was at the beginning of November...it went surprisingly well with four pieces of furniture selling...first off were two very nice 18thc Oak Stools, that went to the trade, just as we were setting up...then a lovely American couple from Texas were looking for pieces of furniture to give to their children...they bought a rare small 18thc/19thc Ash Box Settle and an English 18thc Tavern Table in Oak......along with some treen & metalware sales the fair was very successful....then it was straight into Shepton for three days...the first day was hit by bad weather, but I bought some lovely items including a Charles 1 Oak Joyned Stool. a rare Tudor carved Romayne Panel and a William & Mary two drawer Low Dresser....the second day thankfully the weather was better and my loyal customers came in and I achieved some good sales....Sunday was quiet but sales were achieved and it turned into another good fair.....from Shepton it was into the NEC Fair for a whole week...I set up early and again managed to buy some amazing items, including a 17thc Lancashire Wainscot Chair, 17thc small Oak Coffer, 16thc Bellamine, 16thc German Candlestick and many more very collectable items that will shortly be loaded up onto my website,....once I get time to catch my breath....as we speak I am at Hinchingbrook Hse Fair until tomorrow (Sunday 25th Nov) and then hopefully I can load up the website , before finishing the year off at Newark 6th - 7th December....keep watching this space.....
