Antique 19thc Brass Cluster Candlesticks Stamped William Tonks & Son.

A fine pair of 19thc brass "cluster" column candlesticks with detachable bobeche (socket)....beautifully cast with floral decoration to the base and bobeche and if you look closely amongst the vegetation are the mythical dolphin like creatures called Hippocampus....as if that is not enough the candlesticks are both stamped by the maker WT & S....William Tonks & Son who had a brass foundrey in Birmingham from the end of the 18thc.... although these date to the end of the 19thc...both in excellent condition with no damage.
