A superb example of a late 16thc brass single candlestick known as a Heemskerk, it is made up of four parts, the upper stem and socket, the wide central drip tray, the lower stem and the base..... It has two turned plain "ball" knops (the ridge type ball knops are later) and is in excellent condition with no repairs.
