A superb example of a late 17thc Brass candlestick...it stands on a "flat tray" square base supported by four shaped bold feet....it has a large central "inverted" acorn knop , typical of this period with a deep candle socket another feature from the 17thc.....the central stem is joined to the base by "peening" over the base of the stem....in very good condition with no damage....an excellent example of these early collectable candlesticks.
