Antique Metalware 19thc Copper Fish Kettle Stamped Jones Bros, Dow St.

A finely made 19thc Copper Fish Kettle / Steamer....it still retains the original tray for raising and lowering the fish into the boiling water and the tray has shaped "fish tail" handles ....a real sign of quality....it probably was used in the Manor / Farmhouse kitchen. The kettle is stamped Jones Bros, Down St. W....who were ironmongers in Down Street, London from 1832 -1900, making fine quality copper cookware and medical sterilising copperware.
