A fine pair of 19thc Brass Door Porters, both of a classical shape and both clearly stamped on the reverse RE&S possibly for Edmund Ratclyffe & Son, who had a Brass Foundry in Birmingham, around 1880 and the other Porter stamped WT&S for William Tonks & Son, a well documented Brass Founder also from Birmingham, a little earlier around 1852-59.....both of these Porters are in original fine condition.
