A beautifully carved mid to late 16thc Oak "Romayne" Roundel Panel , showing a handsome Gentleman resplendent in his tunic and hat complete with feather.....I also like the way the carver has shown his "double chin" a sign of good breeding in those times....very good natural colour and on the reverse is still signs of the old paintwork under lined paper.
