A fine example of an early 19thc Windsor chair known as a "high hoop back", it has an elm seat, fruitwood central splat, beech turned spindles and an ash top hoop....the central splat has a wheel fretted motif with a central roundel and it stands on four raised ring turned legs and has nicely shaped underarm supports....the colour is very good and the chair has no restoration.
