An impressive early 19thc boxwood nutcracker, attributed to the Alpine region, because of the depth of the carving, the shape of the aperture and the sophistication of the drilled roundels....very unusual to find one as large as this which has a length of 4.75ins . In good original condition with an exceptional colour.....
