Antique Early Treen 17thc Charles 1 Lignum Turned Mortar . English.

Probably the best and earliest lignum mortar I have bought...this one dates to the first quarter of the 17thc, probably from the reign of Charles 1 ....it is of such an imposing size with a wonderful natural colour...(not over polished) , decorated with deep ring decoration and raised banding, standing on a broad raised base....it comes with a later lignum pestle.
