Antique Treen Kitchenalia 19thc Birch Flour Scoop With Curved Handle.

A superb spalted birch flour scoop, of a pleasing half rounded shape and having a gently chamfered front edge.....it would have been used in the bakery of a large house or bakers shop.... the long flat handle has a rounded bottom edge and a curved hook end for resting on the edge of a bowl or for hanging from a dresser shelf.....it has gained a lovely pale colour with an excellent patination.....it is in very good condition.
