A very good Brass Tobacco Box, engraved with Agrarian scenes & the rhyme:
Drive on my Boy, God speed the plough, he loved thers (others), fair the seasons now.
On the reverse is inscribed Robert Siverest 1735. This box is illustrated in Gentle & Field, Domestic Metalware 1640-1820, page 425, No.15.
