18thc Bronze Croatal /Rumbler Bell. English C1770 - 80

A large Bronze 18thc Croatal or Rumbler Bell made by Robert Wells at his foundry in Aldbourne in Wiltshire. (These bells have become very collectable especially Bells of this size, which were used for larger animals, such as cows, horses etc.)The initials R.W.are cast on the outside of the bell.
