18thc/19thc Iron Game Crown . Continental. C 1780-C1800.

A well made "Game Crown" used by the keeper, where he would let the game which had been shot, hang for a week or two improving the flavour. I have seen these crowns used in Farmhouse kitchens, where Herbs or Pans have been hung from them looking equally at home.
