A superb pair of 17thc oak carved "cheeky" cherubs....they are beautifully hand carved with very expressive little faces....I have tried to show the fine quality of the carver....just look at the hair, tight curls and how it flows down....the detail of the open wing....and of course the adorable little faces....so nice to have a "true" pair and you can't help, but truly appreciate the skill of the craftsman that carved both these works of art..!
