A fine example of a "Whieldon" type pottery dog, was probably made by Thomas Whieldon ( 1719-95) at his pottery at Fenton Low in Staffordshire....this cute example of a Spaniel dog is in excellent condition, along with some minor firing cracks and the colours of brown and green are still vibrant.
