A superb and unusual Knitting Sheath from the 19thc, carved out of Fruitwood in the shape of a Salmon with "punch" decoration and it also has two rolled brass eyes...a good colour and a true collectors piece...! 

English (originally bought in Lancashire) C1840-60.
