A superb example of an early 18thc Brass Chamberstick, unusual fretted candle holder and in undamaged condition, with a classic shape,.... I love the way the maker used a piece of Metal on the base to keep the candle holder tight and has left the underneath of the handle unfinished , so the marks from casting in a sand mould are still visible...perfect..!
