A superb early 19thc "erotic" carved Boxwood snuff box, shown with a scene of a gentleman romancing a lady and on the reverse is a scene of the lady undressing, the carving has excellent detail and the box has gained a good colour....small shrinkage crack which doesn't detract in any way as it probably happened as it dried out in the first year....as is typical with Boxwood.
