A lovely example of a gentlemans shaving pot , complete with original liner and mirror....it is made of Sycamore and is in excellent condition with a fine colour, it has a small hairline crack in the ceramic liner, (nearly all of these pots I have seen have cracks, usually caused by the wood shrinking with age) . it has a very good provenance as it was once in the Levi Collection and also the Hawtin Collection.
