A snuff shoe with a difference....this one doesn't have the brass nail decoration you see on most, but it does have a nicely carved lid and a pleasing shape....added together with a lovely colour that fruitwood goes and you have a very fine snuff shoe..!

Continental, probably French.    C1840-60.
