An unusual form of nutmeg grater...., egg shaped and turned out of yew wood, it has gained a very pleasing colour, it unscrews to allow you to remove the nutmeg out of the base and then you can grate your nutmeg on the original grater and collect it in the base...good original condition.

English. C1840-60.
