A fine quality debt collectors "persuader" with a weighted covered leaded top to the handle , the workmanship is of the highest standard as you would expect of an item made by the top London firm of Swaine & Adeney, (makers with a royal warrent), who made bespoke riding equipment, walking sticks, umbrellas amongst many other fashionable items....This collectable item would have been used by the debt collector to "gently" persuade the debtors to pay their debt....... the leather is double woven down the shaft of the crop terminating with a finely threaded leather strap...it still retains the silver badge of Swaine & Adeney.....
