An excellent example of these scarce very collectable "poking stick" irons....this one which has come from a very good collection, is made of copper and beautifully decorated ...they were used by placing in hot water to heat up and then used to iron ruffs and sleeves...this is about the fifth one I have managed to purchase in 23 years of dealing....and they don't come around very often..!
