One of the finest examples of early 18thc Georgian Steel Ember Tongs I have purchased...it has everything you could want....decorated with bevelled edges and ring turning...a strong spring ....and what really makes it, is the beautiful acorn finial at one end and the shaped "nips" at the other end....and of course before you have taken your lighted ember from the fire to light your pipe, it also has a pipe tamper underneath to "tamp" your tobacco....they don't come any better .....!
