A nicely made mid 19thc Pine staved milk Piggin which has been banded in brass...this would have been used on the farm for scattering grain for the chickens or carrying slops for the pigs and as a one handed milk bucket....interestingly the stave used for the handle has been shaped, so it can be used as a scoop...!
