A superb late 18thc Sycamore raised broad rimmed food platter....what is interesting to see is on the underneath of the platter are lots of knife marks and on the topside are very few...so the owner chopped his food up on the underneath to keep from damaging the topside....very clever...... in fine condition with an attractive mellow colour and patination.
