A rare survivor from the past is this superb English 17thc Oak Dresser Base....it has raised half round mouldings that border geometric shapes and it still retains the original handmade iron hinges....a good size and with a very good natural patination and colour.....totally original apart from the brass handles....it would have probably had wooden knobs, but as taste changes the brass handles replaced the wooden ones.
