A fine early Sycamore pole-lathed turned Mortar, from the end of the 17thc...it has deep incised ring turned decoration and stands on a slightly raised pedestal base....very good colour and deep pole-lathe marks to the underneath and the inside of the bowl, which help us to date this piece to the 17thc...good condition.
