This is certainly a rare form of muffineer / shaker....the first one of its shape I have had....used for shaking pepper, spices in the large country kitchen...it is in excellent condition with no dents or cracks and came from the collection of Andrew Crawforth who had a very good eye and knowledge for early metalware..!
